What do I do if I see the error message: Unable to Connect to Realtime Server?
Connections to Stormboard may need to be specifically allowed by your IT team.
Unable to Connect to Realtime Server
If you receive this error message when logging into a Storm, it typically means that you are behind a firewall that is blocking a connection to our Realtime Server.
Our Realtime Server handles all the realtime actions in Stormboard such as adding, moving, and deleting ideas.
Steps to Resolve this issue:
-
Refresh your screen to see if it was a temporary connectivity issue.
-
Contact your IT department or administrator and request that they add a firewall rule to allow the server.
-
Contact Stormboard support.
