Add a Storm backup to save a version of your Storm at its current state. You can restore a previously saved version at any time.
Available on Business and Enterprise plans.
- Business plans are limited to 3 backups per Storm.
- Enterprise plans can save unlimited backups.
How to backup a version of your Storm:
- Select the ‘History’ tab in the Storm menu (at the top-right corner).
- The 'Storm History' sidebar menu will open. Click the 'Versions' tab at the top.
- Select ‘+ Add Storm Backup’ to back up the current version of Storm and save it for later reference.
Note: The template layout and all Storm content is saved in the backup.
How to restore a backup:
- Select the 'History' tab in the the Storm menu (at the top-right corner).
- The 'Storm History' sidebar menu will open. Click the 'Versions' tab at the top.
- Hover over the saved backup that you want to restore. Click the 'Restore as New Storm' icon to the right of the label.
- A dialog will open prompting you to enter a name for this Storm (as the backup will be restored as a separate new Storm). Enter a name and click the 'Restore' button.
How to delete a saved backup:
- Select the 'History' tab in the the Storm menu (at the top-right corner).
- The 'Storm History' sidebar menu will open. Click the 'Versions' tab at the top.
- Hover over the saved backup that you want to delete. Click the 'Delete Backup' icon to the right of the label.
- A dialog will open asking you to confirm that you want to delete the backup.
Caution: Deleting backups is permanent and they cannot be restored.
