Does everyone need an account? Can I be involved in a Storm without setting up an account?
All Stormboard participants, contributors, and viewers must have an account.
There are two main reasons for this:
-
Data Security: Only the people who you invite to your Storm have access to view any of the content-- data security is very important to us, requiring accounts allow us to keep your data secure.
(Even we have to request access to view your Storms!) -
Content Ownership: Once your colleagues have been invited to your Storm an account is required to create, comment, vote, and receive or assign tasks on sticky notes. By default all content is anonymous, but our system requirements need an associated account for these attributes.
Signing up takes only a couple of minutes-- then you can get right to working better together!
